Pastelpotloden – welke?

(scroll down for English translation)

I prefer to use pastelpencils in my bible. They are very soft and blendable. In the video you see me testing and comparing 7 different brands.  Sorry it is in Dutch. I compare the intensity of the color, how soft they are (I prefer very soft) and the price (in NL).

I prefer the brand Conté a Paris; the most expensive one. But to be honest: these brands are all good. If you like your pencils a little harder: go for Cretacolor. If you want a good rich color but don’t want to pay too much: go for Koh-I-Noor and just buy the colors you like individual in an outlet-store.  I already had a box of Bruynzeel Design pastelpencils: I really like them – even after this test.

Tip: pastelpencils need a specific sharpener. You can’t get these pencils as pointy as regular pencils because they crumble way to quick.
